All Is Quiet During the Month of June

The month of June is always a quiet month for ski operators as client attentions turn towards their summer holidays and most of the maintenance issues have been crossed off in May. Three or four years ago June was a different picture with many ski chalets going through wholesale transformations either prior to the summer months of July and August or in the larger transformations the winter season. The economic recession has certainly put a stop on the renovation market and most operators today are undergoing the bare minimum hoping for sunnier days in the not too distant future.

Whilst ski in ski out holidays have bucked the downturn, the poor currency exchange between the Pound and the Euro has cut spending also.
